<p>Position: Endoscopy Technician</p> <p>Department: Endoscopy</p> <p>Schedule: 40 Hours (7a-330p or 8a-430p), On-Call Required</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant at the field, assisting the Endoscopist performing the endoscopy procedure on patients of all ages.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly.</p> </li><li> <p>Customizes to a variety of needs specific to impairments, such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-English speaking, and potential victims of abuse.</p> </li><li> <p>Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.</p> </li><li> <p>On-call required</p> </li></ul> <p>JOB REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: High school diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications: BLS required</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge + Skills: Must have working knowledge with scopes in the upper and lower GI tact and experience working with GI Physician. Exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to perform as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, instilling a positive cohesive spirit to ensure customer satisfaction.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$19.66- $29.22</p> <p>This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications.
