Murphy and Mary R. Tisko schools</p> <p>Supervision received: Reports to Director of Elementary Education and Building Principals</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver high-quality elementary science instruction aligned to district curriculum, course expectations, and the Next Generation Science Standards. </li><li>Plan and implement engaging lessons that promote inquiry, scientific reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving. </li><li>Develop and refine curriculum, units, lessons, assessments, and instructional materials aligned to course goals and standards. </li><li>Use effective classroom management, instructional routines, and assessment practices to support an inclusive learning environment. </li><li>Assess student learning, analyze results, and adjust instruction to meet diverse student needs. </li><li>Collaborate and communicate professionally with colleagues, administrators, families, and other stakeholders to support student learning. </li></ul> <p>Start Date: August 2026</p> <p>Open Until: June 12, 2026</p> <p>Interested candidates must complete the application online at</p> <p>www.branfordschools.org</p> <p>(Internal candidates should provide all the required information.)</p> <p>Bilingual English/Spanish candidates encouraged to apply</p>
