Responsible for routine and preventative maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and general maintenance equipment.</p> <p>Recruiter: Jennifer Gordon || apply@covhlth.com</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates daily activities of Plant Engineering personnel. </li><li>Coordinates daily utilization of building automation systems and related equipment. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining all required regulatory documentation and participating in document reviews. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining all testing and inspection documentation and participating in document reviews. </li><li>Responsible for scheduling all Plant Engineering personnel. </li><li>Assists in selection and hiring of all Plant Engineering personnel. </li><li>Completes annual performance evaluations for designated technicians. </li><li>Assists Multi-Site Facility Manager in management of FTE's and budget. </li><li>Provides technical support and hands on assistance for technical and critical tasks. </li><li>Maintains proper working environment, insures that quality work is being performed by all personnel. </li><li>Assists in all areas of maintenance as needed. </li><li>Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. </li><li>Local travel required. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned or requested. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Education:</p> <p>None specified; will accept any combination of formal education and/or prior work experience sufficient to demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skill and ability needed to perform the essential tasks of the job, typically such as would be equivalent to a high school diploma or GED. Preference may be given to individuals graduating from a trade or vocational school.</p> <p>Minimum Experience:</p> <p>3 years Mechanical Technician experience with at least 1 year at a supervisory level.</p> <p>Licensure Requirement:</p> <p>Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver's license Class D and state mandated Insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.</p>
