This includes analyzing business requirements, configuring the system, conducting testing, and providing ongoing support to users. The role involves a mix of functional and technical expertise to ensure the system effectively meets business needs and goals.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Eliciting and documenting business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into functional specifications, and ensuring alignment with PeopleSoft capabilities. </li><li>System Configuration: Configuring and customizing PeopleSoft modules to meet business requirements, including setup tables, security, and other relevant settings. </li><li>Testing and Troubleshooting: Developing and executing test plans and scripts, conducting system and user acceptance testing, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the system functions as expected. </li><li>Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including business process workflows, functional requirements documents, test plans, and user guides. </li><li>User Support: Providing ongoing support and training to end-users, addressing their questions and issues, and ensuring they can effectively utilize the system. </li><li>Collaboration: Working closely with developers, other analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of the PeopleSoft Financials system. </li><li>Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve business processes and system efficiency through the use of PeopleSoft functionality. </li><li>Staying Current: Keeping up-to-date with PeopleSoft updates, patches, and new features, and assessing their impact on the organization's system. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Level 1: 3-7 years of experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials </li><li>Level 2: 7+ years of experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Financials, with at least 2 years in leadership. </li><li>Strong understanding of PeopleSoft Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, and others. </li><li>Experience with PeopleSoft configuration, including setup tables, security, and other relevant settings. </li><li>Proficiency in testing methodologies and test script development. </li><li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. </li><li>Ability to analyze and solve complex problems. </li><li>Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. </li><li>Knowledge of SQL and PS Query is beneficial. </li><li>Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades and PUM image applications is desirable. </li></ul> <p>Position Details:</p> <ul> <li>Work Location: One Commerce Plaza, 99 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12231 </li><li>Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) </li><li>Duration of Contract: 12 months with extension </li><li>Pay Range: $50 to $80 an hour </li></ul>
