<p>Building assemblies and sub-assemblies into housings to be used for radiation detection.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Leak testing cryostats, dewars, etc. </li><li>Building and evacuation of various cryogenics hardware. </li><li>Cleaning hardware. </li><li>Soldering. </li><li>Follow priority schedules. </li><li>Epoxying feedthrus and Be windows. </li><li>Maintaining stocks / supplies. </li><li>Maintaining Equipment. </li><li>Work with Engineering to identify and correct problems. </li><li>Inspect manufactured items for cosmetics, workmanship, soldering, conformance to drawings, and quality standards. </li><li>Verify proper revision levels and markings per prints. </li><li>Assist team members and provide support. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Building sub-assemblies </li><li>Cycle Counts </li><li>6S </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical ability. </li><li>Ability to follow blueprints and written procedures. </li><li>Basic knowledge of electronics and components. </li><li>Good math skills. </li><li>Knowledge of metric measurements. </li><li>Ability to handle chemicals safely. </li><li>Very good soldering skills. </li><li>Knowledge and use of basic hand tools. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Basic vacuum and leak testing knowledge. </li><li>Inspection experience, some microscope usage. </li></ul> <p>AMOUNT OF EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:</p> <p>Two+ years mechanical assembly or related manufacturing experience.</p> <p>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p>
