<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Perform mechanical repairs on diesel powered equipment (aggregate plant equipment) to include trouble shooting and repairs of heavy equipment, rebuilds, removal and installation of mechanical parts, and preventative maintenance on all types of diesel-powered equipment. Lubricate and change oils and filters as needed.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma/GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position </li><li>2 to 5 years' heavy equipment experience </li><li>CAT quarry/construction equipment / diesel engine repairs </li><li>Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair </li><li>Advance knowledge of engine, drive train, brake, electrical and hydraulics a plus </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear.</p> <p>Working Conditions</p> <p>All duties require outside assignments and require periods of work in all weather conditions-heat, cold, wet or dry, and dusty.
