<p>West Pines Behavioral Hospital is a new 144-bed inpatient behavioral health facility serving Denver area residents located at 11455 Huron Street, Westminster, CO and is a joint venture between Intermountain Health and Acadia Healthcare. The hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and intensive outpatient services to address the growing need for accessible, high-quality behavioral health care in the Denver metro area.</p> <p>This is an as-needed PRN position, with hours assigned based on operational needs.</p> <p>We are seeking passionate people with a caring attitude. Under general direction, our Cooks implement menus and coordinate food preparation and serve meals.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Perform routine tasks related to clean up and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas. </li><li>Properly prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies. </li><li>Ensure compliance with state or federal regulations. </li><li>Prepare foods according to standardized recipes and approved menu. </li><li>Utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality. </li><li>Understand and apply the sanitation procedures needed to provide a safe and healthy environment. </li><li>Adhere to menu compliance, special diet compliance and report any dietary non-compliance, concern or complaint of patients to dietician, supervisor or manager. </li><li>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li></ul> <p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>ServSafe Certification or similar food safety certification, where required by the state and facility. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00/hr</p> <p>We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.</p>
