<p>Serves as an unclassified employee pursuant to Section 124.11 (A) (12) O.R.C. and performs the following educational and/or research duties:</p> <p>Under direction of the Associate Administrator in the Office of Exceptional Children:</p> <ul> <li>Research special education policies </li><li>Analyze data and summarize findings </li><li>Present research results in written and graphical formats </li><li>Prepare presentations for stakeholder engagement </li><li>Communicate relevant and accurate information, clearly and concisely during formal or informal meetings </li><li>Collaborate with others to accomplish goals </li><li>Use various tools and technologies to prepare and share documents and reports </li><li>Provide essential support such as arranging meetings, taking notes, and responding to routine inquiries </li><li>Collaborate with the State Systemic Improvement Plan (SSIP) and State Personnel Development Grant (SPDG) leads to implement each project. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current enrollment in baccalaureate or graduate degree program. </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualities:</p> <ul> <li>Interested in education policy and research, specifically special education </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint </li><li>Ability to write and communicate succinctly and clearly </li><li>Capable of working independently and in a team setting </li><li>Self-motivated </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills </li><li>Desire to work as part of a team and interact with the education community </li><li>Experience working in a professional environment </li></ul>
