<p>Department Public Works/Engineering Type of Position Full-time Salary/Pay Rate $97,000 - $120,000 annual based on experience Deadline to Apply ongoing MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Civil Engineering, along with extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and public works project execution and demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.</p> <p>REQUIREMENTS Must pass a criminal background investigation, pre-employment medical exam, and drug test. NATURE OF WORK PERFORMED Under the direct supervision of the Director of Public Works, the Deputy Director/Chief Engineer oversees the Engineering Bureau and assists with the overall supervision and administration of the Public Works Department. This position applies advanced civil engineering knowledge to manage and direct all functions of the Engineering Bureau.
