<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Operations & Maintenance Office Professional: Architect of Infrastructure Support</p> <p>Location: FFSD Operations & Maintenance Facility</p> <p>Status: 12-Month Operation Level 3 Office Professional Non-Exempt (FLSA)</p> <p>The Opportunity: Powering the District</p> <p>In Ferguson-Florissant, we believe that a safe, clean, and functional environment is the foundation of student success. We are looking for a highly organized, professional, and proactive Operations & Maintenance Office Professional to lead the administrative heartbeat of our department. You aren't just an "assistant"-you are the logistical coordinator for our skilled trades, the primary contact for district-wide service requests, and the financial steward of our maintenance operations.</p> <p>Role Summary</p> <p>As the Operations & Maintenance Office Professional (Level 3), you will coordinate the administrative, clerical, and logistical operations of the Facilities department. Working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will manage work-order systems, coordinate with external vendors, track departmental budgets, and support the Director of Operations. You will serve as a vital link between the maintenance crews and the school buildings, ensuring that every facility request is handled with professional urgency and accuracy.</p> <p>Why You'll Succeed (Qualifications)</p> <ul> <li>Proven Mastery: 3-5 years of successful experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant is required. Experience in construction, facilities management, or a municipal/educational operations setting is highly preferred. </li><li>The "Logistics" Expert: You possess advanced organizational skills and can manage shifting priorities, from emergency repairs to long-term capital projects. </li><li>Tech Savvy: You are proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with the ability to master specialized Work Order Management software and inventory systems. </li><li>Financial Stewardship: You have a strong grasp of purchase orders, vendor invoicing, and budget tracking to ensure departmental fiscal responsibility. </li><li>Relational Expert: You are a professional communicator who can coordinate effectively with diverse teams-from master plumbers and electricians to building principals and district executives. </li></ul> <p>Your Impact (Key Duties)</p> <ul> <li>Work-Order Coordination: Oversee the district's maintenance request system, ensuring tasks are assigned, tracked, and closed out to keep our buildings in top shape. </li><li>Vendor & Contract Management: Act as the primary point of contact for external contractors and suppliers; managing bids, insurance documentation, and service schedules. </li><li>Financial Operations: Process departmental payroll/timecards for maintenance staff, manage purchase orders for parts and equipment, and assist in monitoring the multi-million dollar operations budget. </li><li>Administrative Liaison: Provide high-level support to the Director of Operations, including preparing safety reports, managing departmental calendars, and coordinating fleet maintenance records. </li><li>Safety & Compliance: Maintain critical records for building inspections, fire safety compliance, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe "New Chapter" for every student. </li></ul> <p>Your Leadership Partners</p> <ul> <li>Primary Support: Director of Operations & Maintenance </li><li>District Support: Finance Department and Human Resources </li></ul> <p>The Logistics of Your Success</p> <ul> <li>Classification: Level 3 Office Professional Non-Exempt (FLSA) </li><li>Work Year: 12-Month Calendar (Includes paid holidays and vacation accrual). </li><li>Salary: Based on the Office Professional Salary Schedule, with placement determined by verified professional experience. </li><li>Benefits: Full-time Eligibility (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, & PSRS/PEERS Retirement). </li></ul> <p>The FFSD Advantage:</p> <ul> <li>Work-Life Balance: In addition to standard holidays, 12-month employees accrue paid vacation time to recharge and reset. </li><li>Health & Heart: 100% district-paid medical, dental, and vision plans, plus access to our Ferg-Flor Care district health clinic for your wellness. </li></ul> <p>You are navigating off of REAP site to the district's posting.</p> <p>OK</p>
