<p>DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF WORK</p> <p>MINIMUM AGE: 18 years</p> <p>PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Mystic Creek Golf Course, Camp Dearborn in Milford</p> <p>HOURS/PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: Seasonal position - during the months of March - November.</p> <p>The golf course is a seven-day operation. The schedule for this position will vary and will include weekends and holidays. Extended time off during this period is extremely limited.</p> <p>NOTE: As a Mystic Creek employee you will receive a free season pass to Camp Dearborn; discounts on food/beverage and apparel; discounts on golf and golf equipment.</p> <p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>This is a routine unskilled laborer position. The employee performs a variety of tasks, which vary depending on assignment.</p> <p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Physically transports heavy objects for an extended period of time. </li><li>Loads and unloads heavy objects for an extended period of time. </li><li>Maintains grounds and landscaping, i.e. cutting grass and maintaining property. </li><li>Maintains equipment, i.e. painting, cleaning, periodic maintenance of equipment. </li><li>Works outdoors in extreme heat, rain or other unfavorable weather conditions. </li><li>Follows verbal and written instruction. </li><li>Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work independently. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. </li><li>Ability to operate a riding lawn mower and other grounds keeping equipment. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING/LICENSING REQUIREMENTS</p> <p>NECESSARY SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must possess a valid driver license. </li></ul> <p>POST-EMPLOYMENT OFFER REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Satisfactory completion of background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act but not those legalized under Michigan law.</p>
