We are a team that values creativity, collaboration, and above all fun!</p> <p>We are looking for a Facilities Supervisor to join our Main Branch located in Nashville, TN. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.</p> <p>Compensation: Starting at $24.87 to $31.08/hourly depending on experience</p> <p>Day-to-Day Job Duties: Supervises and coordinates the day-to day maintenance and support of buildings grounds, and facilities systems. Other duties may be required and assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Oversees and supervises the Facilities Staff. Includes evaluating performance and training of employees. </li><li>Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working condition and available for use. </li><li>Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment. </li><li>Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly. </li><li>Acts as liaison between employees and any outside contractors needed to resolve specialized problems. </li><li>Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment. </li><li>Ensure safety standards are followed throughout the facility and participates on emergency preparedness planning team. </li><li>Applies, or assists with application, for required environmental permits. </li><li>Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders and delivers to locations as needed. </li><li>Make branch visits to all locations. Travel to the East Tennessee branches at least 2 days a month each month for any type of maintenance to the building or delivery of supplies/FF&E. </li><li>Ensure delivery of internal and external mail and that mail equipment is functional. </li><li>Replenishing snack and drink machines for the Main Office. </li><li>Cleaning and lawn maintenance of current facilities. </li><li>Assist in driving repossessed vehicles to various locations as needed. </li><li>Assist with minor maintenance on repossessed vehicles (within skill/ability). </li><li>Maintains a safe and effective working environment that complies with regulations and laws. </li><li>The VP of Finance/Controller may assign other duties. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Above-average verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to adhere to Credit Union policies and procedures. </li><li>Ability to use a computer and MS Office. </li><li>Ability to work in non-smoking environment. </li><li>Must possess good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees and outside vendors. </li><li>Strong ability to manage time efficiently. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills required. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics. </li><li>Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative. </li><li>Must possess a state-issued driver's license, pass an annual Motor Vehicle Records background, and maintain the ability to drive Credit Union vehicles and a personal vehicle as required. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with email communication tools (e.g., Outlook) Required. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to sit for long periods of time. </li><li>Ability to use a computer for long periods of time. </li><li>Ability to stand, twist, bend, squat, crawl, and climb. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to drive a credit union vehicle. </li></ul> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
