<p>Geotechnical Engineer</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Geotechnical Engineer with a Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and a PE License. With over 10 years of experience in the geotechnical industry, the ideal candidate will have strong experience in geotechnical investigations and construction inspections.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare technical reports, specifications, construction plans, and geotechnical recommendations. </li><li>Develop proposals and coordinate projects, manage client relationships, and oversee billing processes. </li><li>Provide mentorship, coaching, and review work for staff members. </li><li>Design support of excavation and conduct Plaxis 3D analysis. </li><li>Log borings and perform observations during construction projects. </li><li>Manage multiple projects and tasks within specific budgets, schedules, and deadlines. </li><li>Monitor budgets, schedules, and project timelines. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. </li><li>PE License. </li><li>10+ years of experience in the geotechnical industry. </li><li>Proficiency in geotechnical investigations and construction inspections. </li><li>Field experience in earthwork, driven and drilled pile construction, load testing, footings subgrade, backfill inspection, ground improvements, retaining wall design, and excavation support system design. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Software proficiency in gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, Plaxis, MSEW, SHAKE. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Enjoy a hybrid work environment with the flexibility to work from home two days a week. You will be required to travel locally for client meetings. Our Philadelphia office houses 90 employees, offering upward movement potential.
