<p>Applicants for this position must possess a thorough, in-depth knowledge of the liquor category. A passion for specialty spirits is required along with superior customer service skills to drive sales within a specific department. This is a full-time hourly position.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists in developing sales and providing assistance to customers. </li><li>Continues to develop knowledge of store products. </li><li>Works as part of a team to keep the department and store organized and effectively merchandised; this includes moving, stocking and staging product. </li><li>May be required to assist in other departments. </li><li>Performs all duties of a Store Associate as directed by Supervisors. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be 21 years of age. </li><li>Must be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge liquor and it's categories (i.e. whiskeys, vodkas, brandies, etc.) </li><li>Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as scheduled. </li><li>Ability to count cash and make change accurately. </li><li>Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.). </li><li>Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card. </li><li>Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers. </li><li>Ability to follow directions and complete assignments. </li><li>Ability to write legibly. </li><li>Ability to read small type. </li><li>Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs. </li><li>Ability to work in cold areas. </li><li>Ability to work hours as scheduled. </li><li>Consistent and regular attendance. </li><li>Ability to attend tasting events and sample product to better assist customers with their selections. </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>The hourly pay range for this position is $17.50-$22.00. </li><li>Binny's offers full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, an FSA plan, a 401(k) plan, educational reimbursement, PTO time, paid sick time, paid parental leave, paid holidays and an employee discount. </li></ul>
