<p>Riverbanks Zoo and Garden</p> <p>Society Membership Assistant</p> <p>Under general supervision, the Society Membership Assistant will provide excellent service through professional and courteous communication with Riverbanks members, potential members and staff. This position will report directly to the Society Membership Manager.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Answers member and potential member inquiries via phone, mail and email using outstanding verbal and written communication. </li><li>Processes memberships and donations by performing accurate data entry and fulfillment. </li><li>Provides clerical and administrative support for membership and fundraising programs, maximizing the efficiency of membership office operations. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience: Associate degree with previous experience in customer service and/or membership services in a nonprofit or zoo environment preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic team player who possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills with a very high standard of service and accuracy. This individual will handle multiple projects at one time and assist with after-hours events. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (including but not limited to proficiencies in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook) preferred; prior experience in Galaxy and/or Raisers Edge a plus.</p> <p>We're not just looking for someone to fill a role.
