Be part of an extraordinary life!</p> <p>Freedom Village at Brandywine is recruiting for a hospitality focused Cashier/ Cafe Attendant to join our team!</p> <p>Starting pay rate is $15/hr.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Cashier/ Cafe Attendant:</p> <ul> <li>Greet and interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and approachable manner. </li><li>Handle resident and visitor requests, concerns, and complaints with a positive and professional attitude. </li><li>Ensure all customers feel welcomed and valued, creating a pleasant dining experience. </li><li>Operate the POS system to accurately process customer orders. </li><li>Ensure all transactions are completed correctly, including sales, refunds, and voids. </li><li>Be familiar with processing credit cards as a form of payment, ensure payments are correctly processed. </li><li>Issue receipts and provide any necessary documentation for transactions. </li><li>Assist with food prep as needed (cutting fruit, packaging fruit, etc). </li><li>Follow food safety guidelines and ensure all food items are prepared and stored correctly. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness in the prep area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment. </li><li>Be flexible and willing to take on additional tasks or assist other team members as needed. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>Exceptional customer service skills required - we're looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and enjoys engaging with people. A positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with residents and guests is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere. </li><li>Must be able to operate POS systems. </li><li>Must be able to reconcile credit cards. </li><li>Must be available to work full-time.
