To support this philosophy and objective, the Human Resource Department provides a process to allow for a comprehensive search of candidates, inclusive of internal and external applicants.</p> <p>The Divisions of English and Humanities and Adult Literacy Services are currently accepting applications for adjunct instructors in English. Preference will be given to instructors who can teach in-person. Courses are taught Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday from 8:30 - 3:45 with some evening sections offered.</p> <p>Courses include:</p> <p>RDG 095 - Reading Strategies for College Success</p> <p>ENG 095 - Writing Strategies for College Success</p> <p>ENG 101 - English Composition</p> <p>ENG 102 - Advanced English Composition</p> <p>Instructors must reside in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, or Washington, D.C.</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Applicants must have at minimum a Master's degree in related field and a minimum of one year of college-level teaching experience is preferred. Applications will be accepted for those who can teach in-person and online sections.</p>
