The ideal candidate is comfortable working with various teams (quant, portfolio analytics, investment management, product operations, technology, trade operations, client services, model review, and audit teams) to support 55ip's automated investment solutions. The candidate will be an effective team player looking to make a significant impact by being motivated, a problem solver, curious, and a continuous learner.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Execute Quant team daily operational requests </li><li>Use Salesforce to manage issues and support requests </li><li>Provide Quant L1 support to execute requests & investigate questions/issues originating from trade operations and/or investment teams </li><li>Provide deep analysis of trade suggestions and investment outcomes </li><li>Create reports using various tools </li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline business processes </li><li>Fully document operational procedures, processes, and workflows </li><li>Provide supplementary bandwidth to Portfolio Analytics team </li><li>Act as liaison to model review and audit teams and execute ongoing performance monitoring </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in finance or similar field </li><li>Ability to learn investment concepts; pursuing a CFA (or similar certifications) is a big plus </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Working knowledge in PowerPoint, Word and Excel, Confluence, JIRA </li><li>Ability to create reports using Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, and other tools </li><li>Ability to work with SQL queries to investigate data issues </li><li>Knowledge or ability to execute Python programming scripts </li><li>Ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments </li><li>Collaborative and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment </li><li>The highest degree of integrity, motivation, and intellectual curiosity </li><li>Strong sense of attention to detail, pride in delivering high quality work and willingness to learn </li><li>Agility: Able to shift gears and react quickly to timely requests </li><li>Hustle: Self-motivated, proactive, responsive ability to think strategically but also willing to dig into the details and tactics </li></ul> <p>About 55ip</p> <p>55ip is a financial technology company whose purpose is to break down barriers to financial progress.
