Our Finance team plays a critical role in enabling that mission by ensuring our financial practices are sound, scalable, and aligned with our values.</p> <p>We're looking for a thoughtful and experienced Senior Manager of Accounting to lead our technical accounting and internal controls functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys solving complex accounting and business challenges, and is energized by building strong, sustainable processes that support growth and integrity. As we rapidly transform and modernize our accounting processes and controls, the successful candidate will be an active participant in these evolving innovation efforts and key partner and advisor to our finance and business leaders.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Technical Accounting</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the go-to expert for complex accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, equity, and acquisitions. </li><li>Lead the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and ensure alignment with U.S. GAAP and localized GAAP requirements for our international subsidiaries. </li><li>Develop and maintain accounting policies and technical documentation that reflect Slalom's evolving business. </li><li>Partner cross-functionally with other teams to assess accounting implications of strategic initiatives. </li><li>Support external audit engagement and drive resolution of technical issues. </li></ul> <p>Internal Controls</p> <ul> <li>Drive the ongoing development of our internal controls program with a focus on developing controls over financial reporting that align with best practices under COSO 2013 and Sarbanes-Oxley. </li><li>Lead annual risk assessments and collaborate with/ advise stakeholders to strengthen control environments. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement in control design, documentation, and testing processes and provide strategic advising to Accounting and Finance leaders in these areas. </li><li>Partner with finance leaders and external auditors to facilitate walkthroughs and testing. </li><li>Lead board/ management reporting around internal controls development & deficiencies </li><li>Manage a small team of internal controls/ finance risk professionals </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required. </li><li>8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with public accounting experience required (preferably Big 4) and consulting/advisory roles with exposure to technical accounting and internal controls preferred. </li><li>Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls development and compliance. </li><li>Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative and inclusive approach. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; keen ability to operate in ambiguity and provide structured guidance </li><li>Self-starter with agility to shift between big-picture thinking and detail level execution as needed </li><li>Experience with ERP systems and internal control platforms a plus </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. For this position, the base salary pay range is $140,000 to $180,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
