If you're ready to make an impact and join a community where you can grow, belong, and thrive, we encourage you to apply today and help shape the future of Westerra!</p> <p>What is the role?</p> <p>The FSR, FSR II, and FSR Sr. roles are all primarily responsible for providing exceptional member service through a consultative approach by engaging our members in solutions based conversations. This position is a relationship building role with a blend of financial transactions performed on the teller-line, coaching members through our digital lens, and further deepening relationships with account servicing and originating all of Westerra's consumer loan products.</p> <p>What will be expected of me?</p> <ul> <li>Assists members with transactional needs according to established processes and service standards, including answering member inquiries and issue resolution </li><li>Engages members through strategic, open-ended discovery questions to uncover financial priorities, identify short-term and long-term goals, and align solutions with the member's financial needs and values </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of Westerra's products and services and proactively identifies and recommends tailored solutions to meet member needs </li><li>Represents Westerra at community and business development events </li><li>Contributes to branch goals and supports current business priorities and initiatives </li><li>Consistently demonstrates the Westerra Way Experience and complies with all policies, procedures and Federal and State laws and regulations </li><li>Maintains high-level of confidentiality </li><li>Obtains NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing System) registration within 30 days of hire </li><li>Obtains and maintains notary public certification within six months of employment (if not already certified) to perform notarial acts such as verifying signatures, administering oaths, and certifying documents </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What am I bringing?</p> <p>Experience/Education:</p> <ul> <li>FSR I --- </li><li>Minimum of 2+ years' experience in consumer lending and/or consultative sales, or minimum of 1 year of demonstrating successful performance in a USR role within Westerra. </li></ul> <p>FSR II -</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 4+ years' experience in consumer lending and/or consultative sales, with at least 2 of those years in a financial services role, or minimum of 1 year of demonstrating successful performance in a FSR I role within Westerra. </li></ul> <p>Sr FSR -</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 6 years' experience in consumer lending and/or consultative sales/service with a minimum 3 of those years in a financial services role, or minimum of 1 year of demonstrating successful performance in an FSR II role, within Westerra. </li></ul> <p>Salary: in addition to the starting hourly rate, this role is also be eligible for Westerra's self-funding reward plan. This plan pays out a cash incentive annually if the company hits specific criteria tied to our financial goals and you will have a direct impact on the success of those results! The starting rate will be dependent on experience with consumer lending and internal equity: FSR I starts at $22/hr, FSR II starts at $24/hr and Sr. FSR starts at $26/hr.</p> <p>Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to listen and respond to member/customer needs, seeking clarification when needed </li><li>Strong verbal and interpersonal communication </li><li>Proven attention to detail </li><li>Ability to solve problems and respond with appropriate solution </li><li>Basic computer knowledge </li><li>Accountable for basic short-term tasks and work is primarily routine and follows standard procedures </li><li>Uses basic judgement under close supervision or instruction </li><li>Understanding of procedures for basic technical, administrative, or operative tasks </li></ul> <p>What is the work environment like, and are there physical requirements for this role?</p> <ul> <li>Mon-Fri: On location in the branch (Saturdays on rotation) </li><li>Occasionally: Off-site at business development or community events; may require weekend and/or evening shifts offset by branch schedule </li><li>Works primarily at standing desk </li><li>Ability to lift 25 pounds </li></ul> <p>Salary: in addition to the starting rate, this role is also eligible for Westerra's self-funding reward plan. This plan pays out a cash incentive annually if Westerra hits specific criteria tied to financial goals and this role has a direct impact on the outcome of those results!
