We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world's toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.</p> <p>Location/Division Specific Information</p> <p>Become part of our Nashville team committed to providing customers with essential products for their scientific pursuits.</p> <p>Discover Impactful Work:</p> <p>The Manufacturing Planning Team supports the Single-Use Technologies Division by planning custom orders and stock products efficiently.</p> <p>A day in the life:</p> <ul> <li>Use MRP/ERP/ASCP systems to develop and maintain production schedules aligned with customer demands, inventory levels, and production capacity. </li><li>Lead all aspects of and reconcile exception messages. </li><li>Maintain key item settings in the ERP system to ensure accurate functionality. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Materials Planning, Operations, Customer Operations and Support, Logistics) to ensure timely and efficient production and delivery. </li><li>Proactively identify and resolve production-related issues or bottlenecks to minimize disruptions and optimize workflow efficiency. </li><li>Expedite production batches to meet urgent customer requests. </li><li>Analyze and interpret production data using Excel skills; identify trends and make data-driven decisions to optimize production processes. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, improve workflows, and increase operational efficiency. </li><li>Support expansion and harmonization projects. </li><li>Other related duties as the need arises. </li></ul> <p>Keys to Success:</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. </li><li>Preference for Certification in APICS CPIM, CSCP, ISM CPSM, Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Production/Manufacturing Planning or Supply Chain. </li><li>Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP/ERP and APS (Oracle, ASCP, SAP, JDE, server-based systems). </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proficient in leading and analyzing data in Excel. </li><li>Validated understanding of manufacturing concepts and principles, finite scheduling, product flow, data management, and supply chain planning. </li></ul>
