Be involved in projects with our PMCM Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.</p> <p>Your Impact</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares reports on Construction projects detailing errors and omissions, if any. </li><li>Determines that all calculations and/or field measurements for pay quantities are complete and mathematically correct and are substantiated by field records. </li><li>Verifies that the final plans reflect the revised pay items </li><li>Compares material-based actions and/or pay reductions on the Project Materials Certification letter to actual payments made. </li><li>Exercising independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li><li>9 years of experience in the construction or engineering field </li><li>Four (4) years of CEI experience having performed/assisted in project related duties (i.e., Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) System input, progress and final estimates (PrC), EEO compliance, processing Construction Contract changes, etc. </li><li>Certificate in Final Estimates Level I and Level II through Construction Training Qualification Program (CTQP). Must obtain within six months and maintain thereafter </li><li>Knowledge of FDOT policies and procedures relating to Final Estimates </li><li>Knowledge of the Final Estimates Process and Manuals </li><li>Knowledge of the concepts, terminology, principles, and analytical techniques for Final Estimates </li><li>Ability to analyze and interpret engineering data </li><li>Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others </li><li>Ability to: Become proficient in Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (HCE) or approved surface to surface comparison software and Engineering Menu. </li><li>Proficiency is the knowledge and expertise to: </li><li>Understand which surfaces are needed from the designer Understand the survey data from the field </li><li>Prepare the survey data as needed for use in the software </li><li>Generate accurate earthwork quantities from the software </li></ul>
