This population of patients includes acute stroke, traumatic brain injury, seizures, epilepsy monitoring and other acute neurological diseases. As a certified comprehensive stroke center, we work closely with the vascular neurology team, and our nurses are experts in acute stroke care. In addition, this unit sees a wide variety of acutely ill medical patients. The 6 West unit features 27 beds with continuous cardiac monitoring capability. Our team is committed to the delivery of safe, high quality care to our patients.</p> <p>New Graduates are Welcome to Apply!</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing. </li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certification, Registration</p> <ul> <li>Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration; graduating nursing students must provide NCLEX registration documentation when eligible. </li><li>American Heart Association - Basic Life Support Certificate </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>0-1 years related work experience required. </li><li>Basic familiarity with computers.
