<p>Licensed Mental Health Counselor - Foster Care & Family Support</p> <p>Salary: $68,000-$75,000</p> <p>Are you a licensed or license-eligible Mental Health Counselor who wants your work to truly matter? Join a mission-driven team providing trauma-informed mental health services to youth in foster care and the families who support them.</p> <p>In this role, you'll deliver home- and community-based counseling services focused on emotional healing, placement stability, and long-term family success. You'll partner closely with foster families, biological families, child welfare agencies, and internal care teams to support youth through complex life transitions.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Provide individual, family, and group counseling to youth involved in the foster care system Lead family-centered interventions that strengthen relationships and promote stability Conduct intakes, biopsychosocial assessments, and ongoing clinical documentation Respond to crises and provide on-call or scheduled crisis support as needed Coordinate care and case management with DCF/child welfare, schools, and community providers Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide treatment planning Deliver services in homes, schools, and community settings</p> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Licensed or license-eligible (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT or equivalent) Experience or strong interest in foster care, child welfare, trauma, or family systems Ability to work independently in the community and collaborate within a team Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>Competitive salary: $68,000-$75,000 Meaningful, mission-driven work supporting foster youth and families Supportive leadership and collaborative clinical team Ongoing training and professional development Benefits package (health, PTO, holidays, CE support, etc.)</p>
