For more information contact the Human Resources Recruitment office at 361-826-3300 to obtain Form SSA-1945 Windfall Elimination Provision.</p> <p>Grade: 208</p> <p>Salary: $21.77/hour</p> <p>Department: Finance</p> <p>Status: Full-Time Temporary</p> <p>E-mail: JenniferBe@cctexas.com</p> <p>ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION ARE AS FOLLOWS: Non-rotating 40 hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Must be available to work additional hours as needed.</p> <p>Who May Apply?</p> <p>All persons legally authorized to work in the United States</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare CAFR and other reports for variety of City funds. </li><li>Identify, analyze, and reconcile expenses, revenues, assets, liabilities, equity, original and amended budget. </li><li>Make year-end accruals, adjusting journal entries. </li><li>Prepare financial statements including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Statements of Cash Flows. </li><li>Prepare supporting schedules and audit workpapers with references. </li><li>Create multiple reports in addition to CAFR. </li><li>Frequent special requests from both Financial Services and other department management for information. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Requires Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Minimum of three (3) year of experience </li><li>A valid driver's license is required. Successful out of state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Other Information:</p> <p>Closing Statement</p> <p>Selected applicants must be able to pass a background investigation and a pre-employment drug test.</p> <p>Any position that lists a minimum qualification for education level and/or license/certification will require the applicant to provide proof of documentation if selected for hire into the position with the City of Corpus Christi.</p> <p>This position is classified as "Safety Sensitive".
