We have great benefits and supportive staff.</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Multi-Site Assistant Manager is a leader and integral part of the veterinary hospital's management team. The Multi-Site Assistant Manager partners with the Practice Manager to provide smooth hospital operations and assumes managerial responsibility for the hospital's operations in the Practice Manager's absence.</p> <p>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees day-to-day operations including addressing client concerns, resolving staff conflict, managing inventory, paying invoices, and creating schedules </li><li>Lead technician and receptionist support teams, including assisting on the floor if needed </li><li>Responsible for all administrative aspects such as DEA and OSHA compliance, tracking all team licensing, assisting in AAHA accreditation, and more </li><li>Partner with manager to address HR functions such as hiring, disciplinary action, termination, and learning and development opportunities </li><li>Utilize computer systems to operate practice management software, run financial reporting, and complete payroll as needed </li><li>Support the manager in strategic work such as annual pricing and budget work, DVM hiring and retention, and team development </li><li>Demonstrates and reinforces the highest level of customer service, resolves client issues and escalations in a graceful, but fair manner </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or above is preferred </li><li>Supervisory experience </li><li>Licensed Veterinary Technician is preferred but not required </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and/or experience in the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Manage time and tasks appropriately and remain flexible with assigned duties </li><li>Ability to take action and work independently </li><li>Proficiency in Avimark </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Willing to learn financial and data analysis </li></ul> <p>National Veterinary Associates is a leading global pet care organization united in the love of animals and the people who love them.</p> <p>At NVA, we're on a mission to improve the lives of pets and the people who love them.
