<p>Job Description:</p> <p>SUMMARY: Maintains the district's school buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they represent no problems or interruptions to the educational program.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in maintaining seasonal grounds work (snow, lawn). </li><li>Clean and preserve designated spaces, equipment, etc. in the building. </li><li>Restock disposable items and provides head custodian with inventory usage and data. </li><li>Assist visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment. </li><li>Maintain building and grounds security in the building each school day. </li><li>Working knowledge of the care of custodian machinery and equipment. </li><li>Knowledge and ability to perform minor building repair work. </li><li>Ability to substitute for head custodian on a short term basis. </li><li>Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. </li><li>Assist in cleaning boilers. </li><li>Perform related work as required by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None</p> <p>QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY, AN INDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM EACH ESSENTIAL DUTY SATISFACTORILY.
