<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Full-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>TITLE: Commercial Loan Associate</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Credit Administration</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Commercial Loan Associate is primarily responsible for preparing commercial loan documents, maintaining loan files and other servicing responsibilities associated with the bank's commercial loan portfolio. This position will work closely with commercial compliance issues.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in applying due diligence in compliance with loan policy and approved structure for each credit in regard to the preparation of commercial loan documentation and make necessary disbursements. </li><li>Record and release all types of collateral documents. </li><li>Assist with clearing loan exceptions/ticklers. </li><li>Effectively communicate with and assist officers, employees, clients and local professionals with any questions or research they may request to satisfy their clients' needs. </li><li>Assist with a wide range of servicing duties related to loan and depository relationships. </li><li>Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures as well as internal audit procedures, legal regulations, and requirements. </li><li>Prepare documents accurately for new and renewal loan closings. </li><li>Create and maintain accurate commercial loan files and properly execute imaging procedures. </li><li>Ensure proper recording of liens, prepare mortgage releases in satisfaction of loans, abstracting, and mortgage filing. </li><li>Review files after closing to ensure that all documents are signed and checks prepared for disbursement, advance loans, send payoffs, pay invoices and other post close duties. </li><li>Adhere to regulations for commercial loan compliance, HMDA (Home Mortgage Disclosure Act), Flood Determination guidelines, Bank loan policy and procedures and all lending regulations. </li><li>Verify posted loans from the previous day for accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Verify corporate and trust documents for proper signing authorities. </li><li>Review insurance certificates for conformance with bank requirements for new loans, modifications and/or renewals. </li><li>Respond to telephone and in-person inquiries from commercial loan clients regarding various loan requests or forward inquiries to the party best able to respond to the clients. </li><li>Provide prompt, courteous, and excellent service to internal and external clients. </li><li>Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position. </li><li>Foster and preserve a culture of inclusion. </li><li>Additional duties and responsibilities may be required to support the company's mission, vision and values. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance or other related field preferred. </li><li>A minimum of two years operations or personal banking knowledge or a combination of equivalent education and experience. </li><li>Previous loan experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate financial information effectively to a wide range of clients and audiences. </li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while paying attention to detail. </li><li>Capability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and professional manner. </li><li>Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>Capability to utilize various banking software and Microsoft 365 products, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. </li><li>Strong customer service skills including the capability to establish rapport with clients. </li><li>Capability to manage sensitive information and uphold confidentiality. </li><li>Strong problem solving and conflict resolution capabilities. </li><li>Strong analytical skills. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Duties are performed in a professional office environment. </li><li>May require travel. </li></ul> <p>At QCR Holdings, Inc. we are committed to fostering and preserving a culture of inclusion and strongly believe that it's our differences - of all kinds - that make our company and our communities better and stronger.</p> <p>QCR Holdings, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
