<p>John Ball Zoo</p> <p>IT Manager</p> <p>Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Manager will guide IT staff and the daily operations of the IT department. The IT Manager will oversee the zoo's IT Help Desk, computer networks, and infrastructure working to optimize the organization's technology systems.</p> <p>This position's pay range: $70,000 - $77,800</p> <p>Follow this link and apply today! https://hcm.paycor.com/l/r/A96D51C5</p> <p>A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN IT MANAGER AT JBZ</p> <p>The IT Manager analyzes current systems and assets for optimal performance, as well as planning for and maintaining IT infrastructure. In addition to managing and responding to IT Help Desk tickets, they perform user account maintenance, purchase hardware, software, and services, and complete monthly expense reports. They manage the IT documentation library following ITIL standards and oversee the deployment of technical resources throughout John Ball Zoo. They install, configure and maintain network switches and firewalls, maintain existing server software and hardware, and troubleshoot problems with computer networks and systems. They also support JBZ's security and cyber security, maintaining effective security measures, including checking for security violations and installing and monitoring protection software.
