<p>Objectives</p> <ul> <li>Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate using radios or telephones. </li><li>Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews and supervisors using telephones or two-way radios. </li><li>Prepare daily work schedules. Receive or prepare work orders. </li><li>Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas. </li><li>Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate schedules. </li><li>Record and maintain files and records of dispatch information. </li><li>Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, & SA Recycling safety, health, & environmental rules, regulations, policies, & procedures. </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) required. </li><li>Previous experience in dispatch, traffic, or field service scheduling required. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. </li><li>Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. </li></ul> <p>Mandatory & Voluntary Requirements</p> <ul> <li>General Corporate policies / procedures (e.g. sexual harassment, yard safety, et. al.) training required. </li><li>Emergency evacuation / contingency plan training required. </li><li>Fire safety training required. </li><li>Proper PPE use training required. </li></ul>
