<p>As an IBM i Security Analyst, you will make an impact by leading the design, implementation, and governance of security controls across our IBMi/Power Systems environment. You will be a valued member of the Cyber security team and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.</p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a subject matter expert in securing IBM i (Power Systems) environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead security initiatives including SIEM integration, OS upgrades, vulnerability remediation, and implementation of enterprise security standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and enforce IBM i security architecture across multiple business units.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive automation of compliance reporting and evidence collection processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies tailored to IBM i environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., Enforcive, Compliance Monitor, PowerTech) to support audits and incident investigations.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with audit and compliance teams to interpret regulatory requirements and implement effective security controls.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a key escalation point for complex IBM i security incidents.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to enterprise-wide security strategy and governance discussions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Work model:</p> <p>We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Rest assured; we will always be clear about role expectations.</p> <p>What you need to have to be considered:</p> <ul> <li> <p>5+ years of experience in IBM i (Power Systems) administration.</p> </li><li> <p>5+ years of experience in cybersecurity practices, including system hardening, access control, and audit logging.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with firewall rule and policy compliance, governance, and enforcement.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record managing certifications and compliance audits.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of encryption protocols, secure communications, and certificate management in IBM i environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 (ISMS), ISO 31000 (Risk Management), HITRUST CSF, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and SOC Type 1/2.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional security initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong auditing skills and ability to independently manage risk assessments and security projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., CL, SQL, Python, or shell scripting) for security monitoring and remediation.</p> </li></ul> <p>These will help you stand out:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience working with compliance frameworks such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and ARC-AMPE.</p> </li><li> <p>Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor are preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience integrating IBM i systems with enterprise SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, SIEM4).</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines for IBM i applications.</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and processes specific to Power Systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles and their application to legacy systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
