<p>Electrician - Apprentice</p> <p>Kappler Mechanical has been providing heating and cooling services to the Northern Denver area since 2001. The ideal candidate will have residential install experience with a good record of completing jobs efficiently and right the first time. If you are looking for a company where the high quality of your work will be appreciated and where there is room for growth and advancement, then we'd like to hear from you!</p> <p>Pay Range: $ 20.00 - 24.00 per hour</p> <p>Benefits: Health (70% employee / 50% family company paid), Dental, Vision, Paid vacation, Paid holidays, Phone, Uniform, Training, Retirement plan with company contribution, and Sick Leave (earned at 1 hour per 30 hours worked, not to exceed 48 hours)</p> <p>Responsibilities of an Apprentice Electrician:</p> <ul> <li>Wire all types of residential (and some light commercial) HVAC systems-A/C split systems, ductless mini-splits, furnaces, boilers, rooftop package units </li><li>Complete control and low voltage wiring for HVAC systems </li><li>Complete residential electrical panel upgrades </li><li>Complete all general electrical in-home, service calls </li><li>Determine condition of electrical equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs </li><li>Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects </li><li>Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and price projects </li><li>Accompany electrical inspections when needed </li><li>Establish customer trust and rapport to provide the best options regarding the right products and services. </li><li>Educate and assist customers in choosing the best options </li><li>Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals </li><li>Show yourself as a professional and knowledgeable technician to gain new referrals and repeated business. </li><li>Work alongside the Installation Team to ensure the overall success of the business. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck. </li><li>Participate actively in all training exercises, meetings, and retreats. </li><li>Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations. </li></ul> <p>Requirements for our next Electrician Apprentice:</p> <ul> <li>Enrolled or planning to Enroll in an electrical based tech school program </li><li>Proven track record in electrical techniques including electrical hardware, junction boxes and circuit breaker units, trace lines, and reading wiring diagrams </li><li>Clean, safe driving record </li><li>Highly organized </li><li>High integrity, exceptional communication, and social skills </li><li>Proven ability to make solid customer connections and relate with customers positively </li><li>Strong desire to improve professionally </li><li>Team player </li></ul> <p>Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.</p>
