<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Leads and participates in a small team providing phlebotomy services to patients at a lab site. Ensures adherence to standards and policies. Trains new employees as assigned. Captures data, audits processes and reports selected metrics to management.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education</p> <p>Minimum High school diploma</p> <p>Preferred Phlebotomy Training or Phlebotomy Technical School</p> <p>Credentials/Licensure</p> <p>Minimum ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (or other accrediting agency), or certification must obtain within 3 months of hire date.</p> <p>Related Experience</p> <p>Minimum Six months of phlebotomy experience.</p> <p>Preferred One year of phlebotomy experience at MHSM.</p> <p>Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <p>Minimum: Strong interpersonal and clerical skills. Strong customer service skills.</p> <p>Computer Competency</p> <p>Familiarity with standard desktop and windows-based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.</p> <p>Physical/Mental</p> <p>Minimum: Sitting for long periods of time; mobile; bending, stooping and reaching above head and lifting and carrying as part of daily responsibilities.
