<p>Industrial Base & Production Economics Analyst (TS Clearance #26-050)</p> <p>Job Code:26-050 Location:Arlington, VA - Hybrid FT/PT Status:Full Time Required Clearance:Top Secret SCI Strategic Analysis, Inc (SA) is seeking a versatile, skilled Industrial Base & Production Economics Analyst to support the Defense</p> <p>Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) activities.</p> <p>The Industrial Base & Production Economics Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of</p> <p>cutting-edge initiatives to advance the mission of DARPA ACO.</p> <p>This role focuses on understanding and enabling the U.S. industrial base to rapidly scale production of critical capabilities, with</p> <p>emphasis on real-world constraints, cost, and speed.</p> <p>Required experience:</p> <p>5+ years of experience in manufacturing strategy, production systems analysis, industrial economics, supply chain analysis, or</p> <p>operations research</p> <p>Experience analyzing OEM and multi-tier supplier networks, including production throughput, bottlenecks, and cost structures</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to build and apply quantitative models of production systems (capacity, elasticity, scale-up vs. scale-out,</p> <p>mobilization timelines)</p> <p>Experience working with or supporting manufacturing operations, production environments, or industrial programs</p> <p>Strong ability to synthesize technical, economic, and operational data into clear, decision-relevant insights.</p> <p>Desired Capabilities and Characteristics:</p> <p>Experience in high-volume or capital-intensive industries (automotive, semiconductors, electronics, aerospace, heavy machinery,</p> <p>logistics)</p> <p>Familiarity with factory modeling, discrete-event simulation, or supply chain risk analysis</p> <p>Experience mapping and analyzing complex supply chains, including identification of critical dependencies and constraints</p> <p>Experience with cost modeling, make/buy decisions, or capital expenditure planning</p> <p>Experience analyzing or planning for rapid scale-up, surge production, or time-constrained operations</p> <p>Experience working across government, industry, and public-private partnerships</p> <p>Ability to operate and make recommendations under uncertainty with incomplete or imperfect data</p> <p>Exposure to defense manufacturing, munitions, or DoD platforms preferred</p> <p>Understanding of industrial policy, reindustrialization, or supply chain resilience</p> <p>Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis/visualization tools</p> <p>Excellent written and oral communication skills</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Degree Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Engineering,</p> <p>Economics, or related field.</p> <p>Location: On site most days.
