Non- union; Not benefits eligible. Work days are determined by CLA school schedule and run concurrent with student days.</p> <p>General Tasks include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in school nursing and in First aid. </li><li>Provide medical care to pupils, members of staff and to visitors while on site. </li><li>Perform health screenings, coordinate referrals, maintain children with chronic health problems, and act as a first responder to emergencies. </li><li>Skill in concussion protocol, crisis intervention for acute illnesses and emotional disturbances. </li><li>Manage difficult medical emergencies involving student injury and provide immediate first aid. </li><li>Medication administration </li></ul> <p>Starting Pay - $60/ hour</p> <p>Candidate must hold a current RN License from the State of Connecticut and at least 1 year of current experience to be considered for this position.</p> <p>Brookfield Public Schools is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse work environment.
