Your responsibilities include helping to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and providing exceptional customer service. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to manage visitor logs and communicate with team members. Our company values agility, reliability, and innovation, fostering a caring culture that prioritizes people and teamwork, always acting with integrity.</p> <p>Position Type: Full Time</p> <p>Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour</p> <p>Job Schedule:</p> <p>DayTimeMon04:30 AM - 12:30 PMTue04:30 AM - 12:30 PMWed04:30 AM - 12:30 PMThur04:30 AM - 12:30 PMFri04:30 AM - 12:30 PM</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk. </li><li>Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. </li><li>Support emergency response activities as needed. </li><li>Help to deter unauthorized access and manage visitor entry and exit protocols. </li><li>Maintain a professional and welcoming presence at the front desk, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and employees. </li><li>Monitor and report any security-related incidents or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel. </li><li>Collaborate with team members to address any security-related concerns or issues that arise at the location. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. </li><li>MD-SP Registration-AUS is required, which translates to a Maryland Security Professional Guard Card requirement. </li><li>A valid guard card/license is preferred. </li><li>Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. </li><li>Customer service experience is preferred. </li><li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. </li><li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. </li><li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. </li><li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. </li><li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. </li><li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. </li><li>A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. </li></ul> <p>Perks and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions </li><li>Schedules that fit with your personal life goals </li><li>Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities </li><li>Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues, and much more... </li></ul> <p>Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
