<p>Job Description</p> <p>CDM Smith is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team! You'll be working with a dynamic team of industry leading engineers on a diverse portfolio of public, federal, and industrial projects. CDM Smith offers a full complement of mechanical engineering and support services to our clients. Our Mechanical services include: HVAC System Master Planning & Studies HVAC & Plumbing Systems Design Mechanical Systems Design (Co-Generation) Sustainability/Energy Efficiency/Renewable Energy/Green Building Design In this role you would perform a variety of tasks including: CADD 2D/3D and Modeling Experience for Building HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection Systems design. Basic Mechanical Engineering calculations General office clerical duties</p> <p>Employment Type</p> <p>Temporary</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Basic Knowledge of computer assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices. Basic Knowledge of engineer principles of design. Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.). Good verbal and written communications skills.</p>
