<p>Concord Middle School is seeking a dynamic special education teacher. Concord Middle School currently serves students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Concord Middle School provides deep, rich, and robust curriculum offerings focused on meeting the individual needs of students and integrating a range of opportunities both during and outside of the school day. Concord Middle School has a commitment of clean teaming, core content teachers sharing the instruction for a group of students, enhancing social relationships as well as interdisciplinary and cooperative learning.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree preferred; </li><li>Must have a Massachusetts licensure in Moderate or Severe Special Needs through the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education; </li><li>Autism endorsement preferred; </li><li>Must have demonstrated success with and be knowledgeable about current research-based interventions for children with significant disabilities; </li><li>Must possess demonstrated ability to develop positive behavior intervention plans; </li><li>Experience/training with inclusive practices </li><li>Experience with the administration and interpretation of a wide range of formal and informal diagnostic assessment and evaluation tools; </li><li>Excellent writing and communication skills required </li></ul> <p>Concord Public Schools and Concord-Carlisle High School are seeking diverse and culturally competent educators.
