<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Under direct supervision of the Claims Supervisor - this position processes claims and corresponds with the insurance carrier, adjusters & claimants, secures necessary documents, provides status updates, and maintains Claims database.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Processing reported GL/AU incidents from claims system workflow. </li><li>Liaison/Owner of all minor GL/Auto claims inventory </li><li>Entering all Call-In Claims </li><li>Entering and processing all Self-Reported Claims to insurance carrier </li><li>Charging minor GL/AU claims to projects through claims system </li><li>Mail - Scanning and filing all Claims Department documents </li><li>Run reports and prepare presentations as needed. </li><li>Supporting Claims Supervisor with subrogation tasks </li><li>Any other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in a similar role. </li><li>4 year Degree/Certification preferred. </li><li>Experience in insurance industry preferred. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. </li><li>Must possess excellent communication (written/verbal) and time management skills. </li><li>Must be self-motivated and have strong critical thinking skills. </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. </li><li>Must possess excellent organizational skills </li><li>Non-remote position </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>
