Oversees care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Behavioral Health Technicians. Participates in Quality Improvement activities and program reporting as assigned. Reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Director of Adult Forensic Services.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate Degree from an NLN-approved program with 2 years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience preferred. </li><li>Current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. </li><li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, families, employees, and the general public. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships required for proper functioning of the program and lead the team with demonstrated compassion and empathy. </li><li>Demonstrates skills to handle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and facilitate tasks and work assignments. </li></ul> <p>FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Provides direct supervision of assigned program staff and ensures training compliance.
