<p>Pay:</p> <p>$75,000 - $110,000 a year</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The primary function of this position is being responsible for the supervision of mechanics, scheduling equipment, reviewing work orders, and ongoing communication with Operations department and Road Call.</p> <p>Duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Schedules equipment repairs with mechanics and shop. </li><li>Communicates with Operations as to the time involved in proper maintenance. </li><li>Review work orders with Mechanics and observes repairs on company equipment. </li><li>Reports any damage of company equipment to the Safety department. </li><li>Assists licensing by overseeing the placement of appropriate decals, plates, etc. in and on vehicles. </li><li>Reviews and closes completed work orders. </li><li>Communicates with Director of Maintenance and Corporate Maintenance Manager on major repairs. </li><li>Communicates with Road Call on all outside repairs. </li><li>Uses best and or safe practices while performing assigned duties. </li><li>Performs all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, it is preferred an individual have:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required, and some college education preferred. </li><li>Previous working experience within a shop is preferred as a manager or Foreman and knowledge within the trucking industry. </li></ul> <p>For additional details on benefits, please click on the link below.</p> <p>Benefits.pdf</p> <p>About Us:</p> <p>Trans-System Inc is a recognized expert in the trucking industry, melding advanced technology, experienced employees, and a passion to do it right.
