<p>School Lunch Aide</p> <p>Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School, 7-12 Public Charter School located in South Hadley, MA</p> <p>Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter Public School (PVPA) provides students in grades 7-12 with a supportive and challenging environment that is responsive to multiple learning styles, emphasizes learning through the arts, and integrates critical and creative thinking throughout the curriculum. Since 1996, PVPA has prepared students for higher education by employing a rigorous, standards-based curriculum in a nurturing and collaborative environment.</p> <p>PVPA has an immediate opportunity for a Lunch Aide's for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for a professional that enjoys working with students in grades 7-12 and collaborating with colleagues. This position will be to serve daily lunches to students as well as other lunch/food related tasks. The successful candidate will be able to work as a team member to provide school lunches and a safe and caring environment for all students. Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Set-up, track student participation, serve and take down school lunches on a daily basis. </li><li>Clean, organize and sanitize all food areas. </li><li>Monitor/maintain accurate inventory of all food related supplies. </li><li>Monitor/maintain digital log of product and storage temperatures. </li><li>Support teaching staff monitoring lunch areas to ensure the safety of students. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Requires both indoor and outside work </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs. </li><li>Have or have the ability to obtain Food Safe Certification. </li><li>Have or have the ability to obtain First Aid, CPR and AED Certification. </li><li>Knowledge of food handling, procedures, and protocols preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated prior success working with middle and high school students, preferably in a school setting. </li><li>CORI and Fingerprint background checks </li></ul> <p>Other Information/Instructions:</p> <p>This position follows the Academic Calendar with 180 student contact days. The hours consist of 15 hours per week: M - F 10:00 am - 1:50 pm.
