<p>Work Location: Remote, Hybrid, Onsite</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Reports to: Regional Vice President</p> <p>Job Purpose: Internal Consultant is a dynamic, highly motivated sales professional with a financial services background. In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of DPLs insurance and annuity products, the sales process and dynamics, and superb interpersonal skills with a high level of self-awareness.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Hit or exceed Monthly Sales Goals and daily contact goals and appointments </li><li>Provide Education to Member Firms within territory to drive product sales </li><li>Provide Dynamic Sales Presentations </li><li>Run on-boarding calls/meetings to ensure proper introduction to DPL team and services </li><li>Attend industry conferences to promote DPL </li><li>Maintain and monitor opportunities in Salesforce </li><li>Team player with excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment </li><li>Consultative Selling - Qualifies potential customers; builds rapport and establishes trust; asks questions to discover client business needs; applies product and market knowledge effectively. </li><li>Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; plans for additional resources; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks; develops realistic action plans. </li><li>Travel Requirement: Up to 10% </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. </li><li>3-5 years of experience in the Insurance sector with demonstrated success selling Annuities. </li><li>Working with clients at a Financial Advisory Firm and experience with Life Insurance experience is a plus. Professional Sales Process training is a plus (Solution Selling, SPIN, Sandler, etc). </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office - Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point required. Salesforce, Pardot, referred. </li><li>Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; requires minimal supervision. </li><li>Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; participates in meetings. </li><li>SIE, Series 6, Series 63 and State Life Insurance License (or equivalents) required. State Health Insurance License preferred. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee will be required to sit or utilize standing desk while working on computer for long periods of time.
