Our Engineers are in involved in designing or integrating industrial process control systems. You will be exposed to and become proficient in the design and implementation of industrial control systems. Additional requirements include knowledge of PLC and HMI programming, panel designing, power distribution system, Mechanical Systems (Pump, Fuel and Generators), fire alarm and life safety systems and construction administration services.</p> <p>Your daily job function will include one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Design control panel layouts, BOM's, Nameplate Schedules, AC and/or DC wireway layouts. </li><li>Development of I/O wiring diagrams, AC and/or DC power distribution diagrams, I/O Lists. </li><li>Instrumentation specifications and selection of instruments using an Instrument Index and/or instrument data sheets. </li><li>Copper and fiber optic networks for the control system or SCADA. </li><li>Develop Bill of Materials and Estimates for Design projects. </li><li>Prepare drawings detailing the system designed utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT. </li><li>Develop Conceptual design reports and Concept of Operation Documents. </li><li>Prepare Engineering Specifications. </li><li>Coordinate work with engineers of other disciplines and architects </li><li>Engaging with instrumentation vendors and manufactures to understand product capabilities. </li></ul> <p>At Jacobs, we're partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates.
