Although many people associate infertility treatment with in vitro fertilization, our Fertility Center provides the full range of services, from simple evaluations and recommendations to state-of-the-art reproductive technologies. Patients are seen in a caring environment, where the major emphasis is placed not only on technological excellence, but also on accessibility, personal attention, and emotional support.</p> <p>This is a full-time role. A caregiver in this position will work 8:00am to 4:30pm, or 7:30am to 4:00pm with occasional rotating weekends.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide professional nursing care in an ambulatory setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Assess health status, complete nursing assessments, perform telephone triage, and establish care plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Administer medication and treatments.</p> </li><li> <p>Initiate CPR and other emergency measures.</p> </li><li> <p>Notify the physician and/or Licensed Independent Provider (LIP) of abnormal findings.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with specialized diagnostic procedures, therapeutic procedures, and specialized patient care equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, evaluate, adapt and document health education and provide it to patients and families.</p> </li><li> <p>Cover other nursing roles within the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel within the region to support physician clinics and surgical procedures, as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross</p> </li><li> <p>One year of recent experience as an RN OR LPN, Medical Assistant and/or other unlicensed clinical healthcare experience if applicant is a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in an ambulatory setting transferring into an RN role but remaining in the same current ambulatory Cleveland Clinic setting OR a current Cleveland Clinic caregiver in a clinical role within the same specialty area transferring into an ambulatory area</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. </li><li>Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. </li><li>Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range. </li><li>Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids. </li><li>Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. </li><li>Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. </li></ul> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Minimum hourly: $35.50</p> <p>Maximum hourly: $55.60</p> <p>The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
