<p>About Franklin Pierce University</p> <p>Franklin Pierce University is a student-centered institution with a strong commitment to academic excellence, community, and student success. Our Registrar's Office plays a central role in the student experience - connecting academic policy, technology, and records administration to support students from enrollment through graduation. We are seeking a detail-oriented higher education professional ready to contribute to a collaborative and service-focused team.</p> <p>The Opportunity</p> <p>As Associate Registrar, you will work closely with the University Registrar to manage a broad range of academic records, scheduling, and student services functions for the Rindge campus. This role is well-suited for an experienced higher education professional who is organized, proactive, and committed to delivering accurate, timely service to students, faculty, and staff.</p> <p>This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days per week on-site at our Rindge, NH campus.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Academic Scheduling & Registration</p> <ul> <li>Lead the creation, review, and management of class schedules for the University </li><li>Create final exam schedules for the Rindge campus </li><li>Oversee classroom assignments for the Rindge campus </li><li>Manage course waitlists, section changes, and registration processes </li></ul> <p>Graduation & Degree Conferral</p> <ul> <li>Manage the graduation process, including application processing, final degree audits, updating Jenzabar J1, and completing degree conferrals </li><li>Determine and communicate graduation-related timelines, deadlines, and documentation requirements </li></ul> <p>Student Records & Special Populations</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate processing for special student groups: honors, study abroad, re-admits, transfers, consortium students, athletes, and more </li><li>Manage Declaration of Major/Minor/Certificate processes, substitutions, waivers, and degree audit adjustments </li><li>Post transfer credits and facilitate readmit audit adjustments </li><li>Update National Student Clearinghouse as needed </li></ul> <p>Technology & Systems</p> <ul> <li>Support implementation of new technologies and lead training on emerging systems </li></ul> <p>Community Support</p> <ul> <li>Ensure timely training and communication to University on registration, course scheduling, grading, and other Registrar Office updates </li></ul> <p>Leadership & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Manage academic standing processes and advisor assignment/management </li><li>Support accreditation, licensing, and strategic planning initiatives </li><li>Serve on university committees and participate in professional development conferences </li><li>Supervise Registrar staff and work-study students as needed </li><li>Champion continuous improvement in office efficiency and administrative best practices </li><li>Back-up to University Registrar in various processes and procedures. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education administration </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of FERPA and the ability to maintain strict student record confidentiality </li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex information clearly and diplomatically </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database systems </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across departments </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience working directly in a Registrar's Office </li><li>Experience with Jenzabar J1 </li><li>Background in academic scheduling or degree auditing </li></ul>
