This job description does not constitute an employment contract.</p> <p>FWS Student Assistant, Temporary</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must have FWS or SWS award. </li><li>Must be a registered USF student. </li><li>Basic computer skills. </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly, follow instructions, and work independently or as part of a team. </li><li>Familiarity with Microsoft Office or similar software; ability to learn office systems. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in customer service or office work, knowledge of data entry systems or specialized departmental tools, strong organizational and time-management skills. </li></ul> <p>STANDARD LEARNING OBJECTIVES</p> <p>As a result of this position, students will be able to:</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrate basic employability skills such as timeliness to work, appropriate dress, interpersonal communication, and time management </li><li>Receive and solicit feedback from the supervisor and effectively apply feedback on the job </li><li>Assess the workplace and demonstrate how personal talents, skills, and knowledge fit into the employer's goals, mission, and vision </li><li>Demonstrate his or her professional brand (identity) </li><li>Communicate transferable and functional skills to prospective employers </li></ul> <p>IT CORE COMPETENCIES:</p> <ul> <li>Growth Mindset: Takes ownership of personal growth and embraces the concept that intelligence and talent can be developed through continuous learning. Takes appropriate actions to ensure commitments are met and results achieved. </li></ul> <p>DUTIES:</p> <p>Responsibilities include organizing tasks, managing the team's ticket queue, general administrative support, and using Microsoft Teams to improve efficiency.
