To continue growing and serving our customers with reliable, quality foundation repair solutions, we are expanding our Engineering Team.</p> <p>Currently, our highest needs are in the following states, however we are always open to conversations with PE licensed engineers across the US:</p> <ul> <li>California </li><li>Pennsylvania </li><li>South Carolina </li><li>Virginia </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Engineering review, oversight, and production of permit submission packages </li><li>Collaborate with other engineers and drafting team to organize, prepare, and review permit submission packages </li><li>Interact with Certified Field Inspectors for development of work scope </li><li>Perform site visits to local projects for Engineering Evaluation of structures for the more difficult and complex and commercial projects with preparation of limited reports and repair designs as needed </li><li>Interact with Production Crews for resolution of construction issues due to unforeseen site condition, confirm as-built documentation for successful documentation. </li><li>Interpret regional or local building code requirements </li><li>Communicate with building and municipal officials regarding ongoing and completed projects </li><li>Complete continuing education for maintaining professional licensing </li><li>Develop and deliver training presentations to Admin, Production, and Sales teams as necessary, in person and/or remotely </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PE Required, SE desirable </li><li>BS Engineering, MS Preferred </li><li>5+ years' experience in structural or geotechnical design for commercial, residential and mixed-use projects </li><li>Computer skills (advanced): Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat (or equivalent) </li><li>Meeting and group facilitation </li><li>Statistical analysis of incident data </li><li>Design and detailing competence with wood, concrete, and steel structures </li><li>Solid working knowledge of building codes, gravity, and lateral systems desirable </li><li>Construction observation experience a plus </li><li>Experience with preparation and interpretation of detailed engineering studies and analysis reports </li><li>Excellent communication, organization, multi-tasking, and strong team skills a must </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet project schedules and maintain quality standards </li><li>Must be able to lift 20 to 30 pounds infrequently </li><li>Occasionally enter crawl spaces or otherwise tight spaces for inspection purposes </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Full-time </li><li>Travel is typically limited to your region, however this position could require 15% or more of overnight travel (company vehicle provided) </li><li>Hybrid working schedule with 3+ days in office each week </li></ul> <p>What we provide for our employees</p> <ul> <li>Competitive base compensation ($100k-$150k+, commensurate with experience and regional market standards) with lucrative bonus potential </li><li>Equity ownership in the nation's largest and fastest growing foundation repair and water management company </li><li>The best-in-class training programs </li><li>Advanced leadership training opportunities </li><li>Benefits include Medical, Dental, Optical, Long/Short Term Disability, Life insurance, 401(k) with a company match after applicable waiting periods </li><li>Paid time off including 6 holidays after applicable waiting period </li></ul>
