<p>As a Tractor Technician I, you will perform maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level. </li><li>Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary. </li><li>Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Lew Thompson. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Own the tools required to perform the position responsibilities of this level excluding those provided by the company </li><li>Understand, communicate, read, and write the English language </li><li>Ability to Lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Valid driver's license required </li></ul> <p>Competitive Compensation</p> <p>Covenant's compensation philosophy's intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility/accountability, and longevity with the company.
