<p>School-Based Mental Health Therapist Highland School District #42 Highland, AR</p> <p>At Highland School the mission is to provide our students with a safe and nurturing learning environment. We understand that many children and adolescents struggle with a variety of mental health issues. For this reason, the school district opened a mental health clinic on campus. The clinic is solely designated to provide mental health services for our pre-school through 12th grade students and their families. The Highland School District is one of the first in the state to directly employ Mental Health Professionals to provide therapeutic services.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The School-Based therapist works with individuals, families, and groups to address and treat mental and emotional disorders, and promotes optimal mental health. The therapist also assists educational staff with developing therapeutic/educational plans to best meet the needs of the students. The therapist will provide counseling and crisis services in a timely and consistent manner.</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field.
